The Puente House Foundation is a 501(C)(3) nonprofit corporation providing assistance to men and women who need a structured residential living environment in their recovery from substance abuse.

The men and women served by The Puente House Foundation are residents of sober living facilities—alcoholic and drug addicts who exhibit a strong desire to recover from their crippling addiction.

At times, many of them are temporarily unable to cover the cost of maintaining residence in their chosen home. They face a very real possibility of ending up back on the streets or in already overcrowded jails. It is at this point that continued residence in a sober living facility is critical to their recovery.

With the help of The Puente House Foundation, they can continue to have access to recovery services such as:

Residence in a highly supervised, supportive structured living
environment, i.e., recovery home or sober living facility
Access to 12-step meetings and workshops on a regular and
frequent basis
Community interaction to aid in relearning social skills for return to a sober productive lifestyle
Assistance in job search and placement

Our goal in the coming year is to provide assistance to 100 additional men and woman, giving them a realistic chance at becoming active, self-supporting citizens.
